Long Term Health Care
Because you don't know today what tomorrow's needs will be...
You have no doubt set aside funds for your retirement years, but any savings you have accumulated can be reduced dramatically, or even depleted, if you find yourself in need of long term care.
Where can you receive benefits?
- At home
- Through your community-- Community care options, such as Adult Day Care may make it easier for you to stay at home.
- At an alternate facility
- At a nursing home
How to Qualify for Benefits:
You will receive benefits when we receive documentation that you need care for either of two reasons:
- You require substantial assistance in performing any two or more of six everyday activities, known as activities of daily living (ADLs).
- You require substantial supervisory assistance due to a cognitive loss, which is a deterioration or loss in your intellectual capability.
